Okay season

Of the first eight seasons, season 8 was the weakest to me. It seemed the writers were torn over how to develop the exits of several key characters. They also seemed to be unclear of the overall tone they wanted to create for the show. Several episodes are clear attempts at satire and even comedy. Unfortunately, the move to transition to a lighter more comical tone was poorly realized and seemed for ed resulting in several episodes that ventured into absurdity. Fortunately, the producers did manage to pull things together for the finale--one of the best overall episodes of the series. I look forward to watching season 9.Read full review...

Great Value

I have only recently begun to watch CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Previously, I had been trying to copy episodes on my old VCR. This ended up being very time consuming and annoying (commercials) at the same time!

When I saw these dvds on ebay I decided to purchase a set. I have been watching and enjoying the shows since I opened up the package! No more commercials!! And I can watch some scenes over and over, etc., etc.

Can't get any better until Season Nine

Have always looked forward to viewing the different Seasons of CSI. Never thought I would EVER own Eight Seasons but found a terrific favorite seller.
Season Eight was truly a shocker. Have always loved the family atmosphere that the characters exhibited toward each other. However, to see one of my favorites totally wiped out was very disturbing. Csi eighth season is great

I received the Csi eighth season a week ago, and I have already watched every episode. -I enjoyed the dvd and each episode a lot. I wished they would have not strung out the case where the mob was trying to ruin Warrick. I enjoyed the dialogue and extra information about the episodes. I work on Thursday nights so I miss most episodes and I wanted to get caught up in order as they happen. The csi dvds are also quite a bit cheaper to buy on ebayRead full review...

Greatest crime show

The Eighth season of CSI was the short season due to the strike but it has some of the best investigations. Sadly, though, it includes the departure of two of my favorite characters, Warrick Brown and Sara Sidle. I liked the crossover with Without a Trace.
