The Canon 70-200 2.8 III is the Cats Meow for my trip to Alaska!

So excited & thankful I'm in a position in life to buy my Dream Photo Gear. Sports, Wildlife & virtually anything you desire to shoot with this Beauty.
My 2 month sojourn journey via pickup truck to Alaska, Canada and Western U.S. next summer is gonna yield many incredible photographs to and fro. This Lens Lives Up to Its Reputation

Canon is known to have Great Glass and this lens is no exception. I use a lot of lenses from different manufacturers, but the reason I chose to use Canon Bodies is their Glass!

This lens is tack sharp and fast focusing. The image stabilization works great and it makes my job Way easier because it's the right tool.

Extremely high quality lens

This is one of the finest lenses that canon has ever made. If you want to shoot stock photography and are willing to use an DSLR instead of a mirrorless body, pair this with a 5D Mark IV and you will have one the best full frame Canons out there. That combination is a very good choice for low light. Distortion and chromic aberration is virtually nil. If you want to shoot for the pixel counters you have to have top drawer equipment. Add a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens and you have the basis of a very solid camera system that covers medium wide angle to medium telephoto. No, it is not the newest cutting edge tech. But it will do almost everything that the new mirrorless cameras will, and do it cheaper. And it doesn’t overheat!
