Canon 1DX mk1
My only dislikes is the weight and noisy shutter! Wish it had 4K video, but I'm a photographer not a videographer;) After using this camera, I find I no longer want to use my 1D Mk3 anymore!

CANON EOS 1DX
The 1DX is the complete unit in terms of versatility with the ability to take excellent pictures in very low light conditions without the need to use flash. Its only drawback is its weight but that's a small price to pay.Read full review...

Awesome bit of kit fast focusing, easy to use, weather sealed, built like a tank.

Fully satisfied and more :-))
The EOS 1d X will be used for documentation in Africa.
What shall I say: It is the photo-flagship of Canon. No better product available worldwide. It meets all the expectations.
Only the price is very high compared to other products with only little less quality. But.... the one that buys cheap, buys twice ;-)Read full review...

Great versatility and excellent quality - un-needed duplication of controls
This is a brilliant camera, and in terms of versatility and image quality it cannot be faulted on all technical variables. I am extremely happy with it.
The main reason I changed up to this model was the enhanced quality in low light which is amazing, and the excellent focus tracking options and ability which is staggeringly good.
The timing device for long exposures is also excellent.
It is however a surprisingly heavy and bulky beast - and has duplicate sets of buttons and screens for landscape and portrait orientations which in my opinion are redundant, and unnecessary, and just add to the weight and size. I do not use any of these controls anyway - preferring to use the "quick menu" option on the main view screen so I do not have to change the position of the camera to look "on top" and/or in this case "on the side".
In addition the on/off switch is very fiddly - and I much prefer the simple lever switch on the 7D and 6D etc which I can just flick with a thumb. I also prefer the simple rotating switch to change mode options (aperture to shutter speed priority) found on the 6D and 7D and find it irritating to have to go looking in menus to make such basic option changes. Overall I think it is "trying too hard" to please on the very minor issues which is unnecessarily adding to its complication and weight. This is a rugged piece of kit - with excellent technical quality - but has too much redundant duplicated nonsense on it: making it bulky and heavy.
I could also do without all the sat location facility, the file sorting facilities, and much of the in camera editing, and probably if I am honest the entire video option (as I maybe use it once a year at most) -
Having said all that I still would not swop it with any other!Read full review...
