One of the best point-and-shoot cameras today

Canon has made a high quality super-zoom camera for those who don't want to spend the money for a DSLR and extra lenses.

The macro is awesome, with the capability to focus on the surface of the lens (that's close!).

One must study the handbook carefully to get the most out of this camera ... but it is worth it.
The ability to take RAW pictures takes macro to a new level not seen in the older Canon SX series.

The 50x optical zoom is very sharp, but like all digital zoom levels above optical (200x) quality will suffer. I stay below 50x.

I like the camera and would recommend it to any serious amateur photographer on a budget.Read full review...

You can shot the moon with this camera

great camera! has a ton of features the auto mode works great even pictures in the low light with out the flash. I took pictures at a memorial service with out the flash and not disturbing people. Took pictures of the moon and no added lenses also using a tripod. People were amazed at the pictures they thought the camera cost $2,000.00 When I told them what the camera was and how much the cost was they said "no way" could that be but it is true.Read full review...

Refurbished but just like new

This camera works great! I was hesitant about purchasing a refurbished product but, I am glad I did. This camera has all of the features I need including full manual control which is hard to find. Professional quality pictures and video with ease of a point and shoot.

This camera does it all without extra lenses and stuff to carry around. The 50x zoom is amazing. Perfect camera for those who still basically want a point and shoot, but better quality pictures. Video also great, and I love the 'stitch' feature for panoramic scenes. A little on the heavy an bulky side compared to my old point and shoot, but

Hoping this will make vacation pictures easier. Using only one camera.

I wanted a Canon camera for some time and wanted one with a

Good value, good service and I could not be more pleased!

I bought this cam as I had a new one just like it in 2012 that I wore out. Canon updated it maybe three times and this cam is still better than the upgrades.
I have been pleased with the price, the packaging and the cam itself which works like new. The cam came sooner the I expected and via the USPS which is always suspect since they put DeJoy in charge.
