Finally! Caravanserai in multichannel!

Excellent release! Love the oversize packaging that shows off the original artwork. Lots of inserts and goodies but most of the liner notes are in Japanese. Quad sound is amazing and it plays in stereo too. SACD Sound quality improved over CD and has a warmer sound similar to vinyl without the snaps crackles and pops and the maintenance hassles (dust, static, needles, cartridges)that come with vinyl. This hybrid SACD will play the stereo mix from the CD layer on any CD/DVD/blu ray player. To hear the quad mix you will need a surround sound system and an SACD compatible player. Almost all Sony brand players including Playstation are SACD compatible and will play in SACD quad and stereo.Read full review...

Great treatment to a great album!

I've always loved this album. The surround playback is so amazing. The packaging is perfect. This is a great release. Hopefully, "Borboletta," will also get this treatment.

Jacked up (more compression & treble) a bit more than the MFSL SACD, but still a good listen.
This SACD will result in more ear fatigue than the MFSL, but if you like extra brightness, it's cool.r>You buy this for the 70s Quad mix, which is pretty good & is very fun to listen to. This album is not just music that you just listen to - it's a mystical journey that you go on.
