Very good. But......
Everything went well with the conversion. The only reason I gave it four stars is this. The replacement shaft included in the kit is the same as the one in the carb. The only difference is that it's not threaded for the screws. This is so that when you force the self threading screws (from the kit) into it, they will not back out. The effort required to put the screws into blank holes was so great that I was afraid of breaking them off. So instead, I re-used the old shaft and thread-locker to secure same. If Edelbrock wanted to simplify this kit and keep the price down, they could include a small vial of thread-locker and eliminate the shaft, fast idle lever and two screws from the kit.
The choke works great. I used a relay and triggered the "hot" wire to the element from the alternator light feed.Read full review...

Installation challenges
Electric choke is a relatively easy install. The rod to the electric choke was attached to the wrong side of the choke shaft lever.That confused me for a short time making me think the rod was not bent correctly.. wiring of the electric choke can be troublesome. If you are installing this electric choke on an HEI engine, or an electronic ignited engine, it is easy because your distributor wire supplies 12 volts. If you are installing the electric choke on an engine that has points, then you could add a relay that will provide 12 volt only to the electric choke. You could also provide power for the electric choke from a direct source on your fuse box that is energized when the ignition is energized. The choke works great.Read full review...

Has Wire Issues.
I would of given it a solid 5 stars but not much thought was given to the wires. The ground which only goes a couple inches to a cover screw is a foot long whereas the power wire which has to go to an ignition power source that can be anywhere depending on the vehicle is only 3 feet long. Mine had to go next to the steering column and was about 6 inches short. I made up my own wires which are better quality than the ones provided. Everything else was perfect and it works great so I don't know why they got cheap with the wires. Since it grounds to the carburetor itself it seems they could of designed it with an internal ground connection and eliminated the wire completely.Read full review...
