Cary Grant at his Funniest, Elegant and Sincere best.

This set of DVDs containing four of Cary Grant's movies is good value. The beautiful musical"Night & Day", is a highly fictionalized biography of the composer Cole Porter - continuing Cary Grant's traditional trademark, words of at least one song have been changed to refer to "Archie" --- Cary Grant's birth name. "Destination Tokyo" is definately now very dated with viewpoints now not popular but then, one has to remember that this film was made before WW2 ended in the Pacific. "Arsenic and Old Lace" causes the viewer to laugh from beginning to end --- the (now) antique furniture used in the props are to die for and probably no longer available even in the classiest antique shops. "North by Northwest" is a mystery/crime story of mistaken identity that really makes the viewer wonder if any of us with our individual identities are safe; however, like all good Cary Grant movies, all ends well.
