Effective and simple to use.
Arrived fully assembled, just had to fill it with food and put it in front of the cat. Within minutes he was getting out pieces a few at a time.
The transparent green plastic makes it easy for him to see what he's doing, and the white base catches all the bits of kibble that fall out. The feeder is also very stable, I haven't seen it wobble at all.
The box it comes in also has instructions for turning the box into a cat playhouse, which is a nice touch.Read full review...

Excellent quality - if only my cat could figure it out!
I purchased this as an enrichment product for my cat, so he had to work for his food and use his hunting instinct. He eats normally, so fast eating wasn't a problem. However, after two weeks he just can't figure it out. I have to sit next to him and hold his paw to show him how to use it. If I don't then he doesn't eat! My cat's now been diagnosed with diabetes (nothing to do with the product!) and needs easy access to his biscuits, so I've stopped using it.
It's a well made product, sturdy, easy to clean, well designed - but my cat can't figure it out. If you're cat is smarter than mine, or perhaps younger or motivated by food, then I think this would be a great product.Read full review...

Works better than I expected it to
I didn't expect much from this thing. But both my cats love it lots although it took a while for them to work out how to use it. The main issue with the unit is that it's a little tall (even for my 7kg boy) so they generally don't use the top level which is annoying as that's the easier part to feed in the food.
Definitely worth a purchase if you're looking for a way to entertain your kitty and also slow down their eating a little. Read full review...

It took my two cats about three days to figure it out and one is using it as it is meant to be used...and the other just hits it hard on top and bikkies fall down. So yeah, it can be cheated. No More Fat Cat
My cat is like a vaccuum. Feed her and its gone in seconds. Then she would try and eat the other cats food. She became over weight very quickly. This new cat feeder toy makes her work for her food so she has no choice but to eat slowly, which satisfies her hunger in the better way. She no longer looks for other food and usually has a little left over later in the day. Best product ever. Good idea with one caveat.
I read the reviews from a different seller of this product and they were mostly positive - with one caveat:
Your cat may just 'not get' how to get the kibble out.
While my cat understands toys that she has to roll or tip to get the treat, with this one she hasn't a clue. I've covered the top two levels, and show her how to flick out the bottom level but... I'll keep trying (keeps me amused anyway).
I give 4 star as it arrived promptly, is a good idea and is made from materials that are fit for purpose.

Works a treat
I put a strip of non slip material around the bottom catchment area and the cats can pick up the bikkies easier. Before they were sliding oround the base.
