Simply Amazing. Reason I say this is. It definatley takes you back to when you saw the play when you listen to this. All songs woere done perfectly.Truly with this set you do not always need the stage. It will take you back and you can relive the play again from yourown memories. All of the songs are catchy and very easy to sing to. Adult or chiled you will definately love this set if you ever saw cats or just into broadway show music. But i cant say this enough if you ever saw cats this will take you b ack to that day and the seat your in and you will remember things that happened during the song. Example of this for me When I hear Memory I remember Grizablla falling to the stage during the orrcastrated part. Just to the lkeft of my seat. And then Jemimia spot light came on as she sang her part dead ahead of me. During SkimbleShanks the rail way cat. I remember a couple of cats playing near the pip on the far left side in the beginging of his number. It is a great set and will bring back memories to any cat fan.Read full review...

Charmingly delightful

Cats is a very wonderful way to spend the afternoon letting your mind just wonder being thrilled, entertained and truly enchanted. It is very refreshing to hear even after the amount of time it has been around and with no wonder! It's music is devine, it's lyrics are simply amazing! It is every thing that a good Broadway show is suppost to be even though it is brought to Broadway via England (It's composer is English). It is a good piece of musical Broadway scoring at it's best and I would highly recomend it to anyone who is a novice about the subject but is really wanting to know what all of the excitment is about regarding it. Best in my book

I enjoy the original cast recording the most. I have other cast recordings & a DVD filmed n London; but the original is my personal favorite. That is just my choice and not based on anything other than my preference.
