I live in Durango, Colorado where we have a very famous narrow gauge rr trip up to the old mining town of Silverton so I was interested in this book...Alas this book does not include railroads in the west but despite that it was very informative and great to read.Read full review...

The Great Railroads of North America

As the title implies this book is a consise history of the most prominent railroads of North American history. A very good reference book.
