A good read.

Very nice autobiography. Covers his early years very well. I read it in a day. Highly recommended for those who like Oldfield's music. I prefer the early stuff myself.

great read on a master musician!

I am a fan of musical bio's, and Mike's autobiography was not disappointing. While many rock bio's end up
being all the same after a while (ie, band works hard, band gets into lots of trouble with substances, band ends up hating each other, band breaks up) this bio was not like that. It was a great insight in Mike's life. Being a long time
fan, it was very interesting reading about the origins of some of his great works. This book is highly recommended.
