The seller said it would work on any version of windows so I purchased it have a bad hab it of taking people on their word new but that's the problem it was on the computer stores shelves back 20 years ago and so it was of course made for windows XP who has XP now days ? not me so it caused me so much grief two agonizing weeks of trying to make it work on my windows computer finally it caused a very bad problem with my laptop the the library directory of dlls so now i can not install anything it anymore, no software or anything the install shield scripting runtime and I have no idea how to fix it its a difficult fix Read full review

As a totally clueless chess player, I have to say this game has a great tutorial and helps a lot into learning the basics. It starts from telling you how many tiles there are on a chessboard and takes you all the way to advanced playing techniques. If you are clueless or a beginner this is a great form of tutelage, if you are an advanced player the AI still offers a good challenge do not think many non rated players would beat it easily although a bit old.Read full review
