These cards are good; I love them.
These cards are excellent, and I thoroughly recommend them. I have been learning Mandarin Chinese for about 2.5 years now and I am getting serious. I wanted to learn by wrote the first 1,000 most common characters, so I bought the first three packs (all that was available), and I have 1,070 characters now.
- Above all, these cards have the simplified Chinese characters as the largest fonts (a good clear size), but, they also have the traditional characters where applicable in the right corner in smaller font. This is critical for me as although I only learn the simplified character, EVERY Chinese person I know (7 at work, friends etc), uses the traditional characters as they are from Taiwan, Hong Kong or surrounding areas, or from mainland China but left about 30 years ago. These cards are great as I can now incorporate these people into my learning (oh no they say lol). Good one.
- They are very clear indeed as they have a font half way between handwriting and newspaper; a good compromise.
- They also have many examples on the back.
