Best mascara ever!

Not the old fashioned type of mascara. The formula is water and face-oil proof. It is easily removed with warm water, it's the HEAT, not the water that removes it. Sometimes I dont remove it at bedtime, and just brush off any small bits that have come loose from my lashes in the morning, and wear it a second day. Really like this!

I knew my friend had this mascara, and I've envied her lashes for a long time. Even though she has blond hair, her lashes are always really nice and defined. Finally got the money to buy it, so I was really excited when it came. And I have to say that I really like this mascara! It doesn't clump easily and makes my lashes long and volumized without being 'over the top'. Comes off very easily at night, but not something that's good to wear in rainy weather, it'll come right off. Doesn't really have any fall out. Clinique Mascara: For the Faint of Lash, Not Heart

Clinique's High Impact Mascara is one of the ballsiest mascaras I've ever used. That's why I love it, but for someone trying to find a more natural look, this is NOT the mascara for you. My only beef with it is that sometimes too much gets on the wand, resulting in too much on the lashes. This would likely be fixed with a better wand or carefully wiping off excess.

This mascara is:
-extremely dramatic
-really thick
-very, very black
-goes on smoothly
-doesn't dry clumpily
-doesn't flake
-not damaging to lashes

Good for:
-models
-makeup artists
-night/evening/club looks
-pinup eyes
-drawing attention to eyes
-contact wearers
-people whose lashes need a boost

Not good for:
-those who are new to makeup
-anyone who wants a natural look
-daytime looks, for those who care about that type of thing
-super light blonde/platinum/strawberry-haired people

I naturally have extremely long lashes, and they're also fairly dark already. This mascara really takes my lashes to the next level. I'm a professional model and love using this mascara for photo shoots, but I also use it with less dramatic shadow for my everyday looks. Overall, this mascara is friggin awesome - but I will probably invest in a better wand to use with it, given the issue I mentioned above.

Perfectly Amazing Mascara!

I am a makeup addict and will try anything once...after years of using Cover Girl Fantastic Lash and it getting discontinued I was once again on the search for the staple mascara...I like my lashes to be dramatic, long, and full just like the next girl. After trying MANY different low and high end mascaras this one was by far the best! I use 2 coats put on back to back. Great But Watch Out For Sample Sizes

This is great mascara which I have bought in full size and sample sizes. Thickens without clumping, washes off with soap and water, long lasting. But I got burned on my last purchase of 2 sample sizes -- they were either partially used or old. There was hardly any mascara in them and they didn't build up my lashes at all. I will definitely continue to use High Impact because it's a great product but from now on I will only buy a new, full-sized tube still in the box.
