Honestly, they're too low.

I put these on my Outback. Aside from frame spacers, higher shocks and longer control arms, outbacks are legacy's. Maybe a tad heavier in the rear. If you're putting them on an OB (which obviously I don't recommend) remember to buy legacy sized shocks.

I was happy with them for a while, but that was mostly from the style change the lower ride height got me. It looked pretty sweet, and definitely grabbed attention. But eventually I realized the ride was crap.

The springs sit too low, in the rear especially. This does multiple things. Your rear camber will splay out, but the ride isn't high enough to clear the tire if you get a camber adjustment upper control arm. I even downsized to 225/50r16s and they didn't have clearance.

You'll also ride your rear bump stops. You'll have to cut them down.

The springs will prematurely wear out your shocks. They aren't designed to have the preload that lowering the car puts on them.

And despite what H&R INSISTS isn't the case, you WILL need to buy imprezza upper spring seats for your front shock tower. They're like 10-15 dollars so not that big of a deal. The base of the spring luckily is a direct fit on legacy struts.

I ran these for probably 5 years. I recently upgraded to coilovers and I'm never looking back.
