Hot plate is different

One I ordered before had a pressure sensor on it to turn off plate that has nothing on it. I got this set because I would get the mug and thought I could send the other plate back. My cats would hate to step on the plate that is on all the time. My cats could turn it on and get burnt. The pressure sensor plate I give 5 stars. Safety is issue with this plate!!
