Legendary group The Jordanaires made the Season 4 DVD extra enjoyable for me .

Unfortunately I had to return the DVD due to video and sound problems with track/program #46 . I am presently looking to purchase another C.S. U.S.A. season 4 to replace it . I viewed the entire DVD (minus track # 46) and was thoroughly fascinated by the music history ( not just Country Western) . My absolute favorite programs and songs were those that featured the legendary Jordanaires . They were/are the most recorded voices in history and in fact may have backed more Pop and Rock + Roll singers than Country singers . It is estimated they were on more than 36,000 recordings ! In the 1950s and 1960s they were on nearly every recording by Elvis , Ricky Nelson , Patsy Cline , and many many other music giants . For them to take time to be on a relatively small show is really amazing . There are also background musicians such as guitarist Hank Garland and Pianist Floyd Cramer on some segments . They are two of the greatest at what they did in the world . Period ! I only wish the programs were longer .Read full review...
