Bolton to London

I love Peter Kay, although I am sure there are others who could have filled this role just as well. He still exudes Boltonisms even though he is playing the role of a Londoner. The story is great, I can see most if not all of the events in the show happening. Not a laugh a minute, in fact some rather good drama really with funny bits in it. Entertaining? Definitely. I stuffed up and watched disk 2 first, and still really enjoyed it. Binged watched the whole lot over two days. Cracker. The show is focused on Danny Baker, a lad almost leaving school who has a million questions for the world. He has grown up with a Docker Dad who is a bit dodgy, ok a lot dodgy. The supporting cast are all superb, and this looks like a real family. Worth a look I am sure there's something for everyone in this series. Can't wait for series two.Read full review...
