It's only the worst David Cronenberg effort ever. The provided audio commentary is the best aspect of this laserdisc ported freakshow of a film. I much more prefer "Videodrome" and "The Fly" in the Cronenberg ouvre. On the plus side, it's nice to finally have "Crash" on Criterion Collection BD. David Croenburgs Masterpiece
Crash is the masterpiece of controversial director Croenburg . It isn’t for everyone but it takes multiple viewings to fully appreciate this opus of filmmaking. This Criterion version is by far the best the film has ever looked. If you don’t mind nudity and sexual situations and like to look deeper than the surface then you will enjoy this film.
