Great starter kit.
Bought this as a gift for family who's bought a fixer upper, because I own two of my own and have used and abused them mercilessly for 6 years in a work setting, 1.3ah is more than enough for most hobbyists and the drill has plenty of torque for all but the most stubborn screws, plenty hammer strikes to make the old corded drill surplus.Read full review...

The case is massive with no room for drill bits
The case is massive. The way it is designed to hold two spare batteries there is no room for drill bits or any other items that you would ordinarily use with a power drill, such as screw driver bits.
There is also no manual to explain the setting in the outer ring. You need to find out what it does with trial and error.Read full review...

DeWalt tools are consistently good, and this drill is no exception. The hammer setting smashes through concrete, while the low torque screwdriver settings are just perfect for fitting flatpack furniture together without overtightening anything.
The driver bit collection which is included is very comprehensive. It covers basic screwdriver bits, hex keys, star drivers, squares, triangles, 2 pronged tamper proof, pretty much everything.
The bag that it all comes in is also good quality, and should last as long the drill. The only thing you will need to buy separately, apart from drill bits, is a second battery. These are generally available for less than £30.
I assemble flatpack for people all over North Kent. The DCD776 is my top of choice to get the job done efficiently and professionally.
