Purchased to replace our original remote that had buttons not wanting to work. This is an exact match and works perfectly. We were unsure if we would be able to program it since the direct tv installer set up the first one, but programming took about two minutes. As all things this device is functional but has seems wear out after repeated use . I purchased a couple extras remotes (IF) the one I am now using develops problems .
