With a little work the kit builds into a good model
Very old design goes way back to the steam era and Airfix Railways. The molds are old and leak leaving a lot of flash That said careful cleaning up the flash and mold lines is not a problem. Dry fitting ensures everything fits before gluing. It makes up into a good representation of a steam age turntable. My one will be motorised and controlled electronically with programmed indexing. .A bargain at the price. One can be lazy and pay over £50 for a certain other product.Read full review...

Flimsy but good potential
An old kit (originally Airfix), but bought to be used as a basis for a more substantial turntable. The kit built as it stands would be quite flimsy for active use in a model railway, and needs a bit of work to strengthen and improve it mechanically. As such it is good value.Read full review...

Quite a decent litle model; not at all bad for the money. Some manufacturing anomalies mean a little improvisation and / or experience is necessary during assembly. Instructions reasonably clear but a little basic; some painting suggestions might be nice. putting palstic kiits to gether pros and cons
You need patient of Job and good steady hands adn eyesight to assemble this and other plastic kits.
Then you have to paint them .
Once completed they lok good but you may prefer to buy ready assembled. Problem with laying track as you have it incline each piece of track entering or leaving the turn table.
Its a casr you take your choice and live with the oujtcome. I won't use palsitc agaig too old and worn out to assemble it.Read full review...

Great little kit
This a very realistic kit. Just a shame the tooling to produce is a little worn for wear, plastic has oozed out the mould so has to be picked off. But don’t let this stop you buying it, it removes easily. Understand it’s an old Airfix kit so the tooling is probably as old as me !!!....,.looks better than I do on the railway layout.Read full review...

think before you buy this
easy enough to assemble but some parts are really flimsy and when in use easily get broken, I had to do alterations to the four corners to allow the table to turn past rails
