Good Unit. No electrolysis

my main concern when buying a coolant alarm was it had read a bit about electrolysis and stray currents in the coolant of the car. I don't really know if it would have affected my car or not. I like for the new updated cooling alarm has a self test feature. Do you have a small easy to hook up but the only thing I didn't like was the coolant sensor housing is made out of a type of plastic where is I think if it was a type of aluminium or perhaps brass it would be more sturdy.
