If you remember the Fifties...

For those who remember Fess Parker as Davy Crockett, this video will bring back vivid memories of coon skin caps, low budget television drama, cute situations, and, of course, the famous song that millions of seniors today can sing by heart.
The story contains some jarring scenes of Indians being shot in the back, Indians speaking pigeon English, and attacking Indians being scared off by Crockett and Russell hiding in the bushes and imitating the sound of arriving soldiers.

Davy Crockett

I was hoping that the grandchildren would enjoy. I realize this is not historically accurate. Movies like this taught an entire generation duty, honesty and service to country. Safe for children to watch and it gives you an opportunity to discuss the inaccuracies and teach history and comitment. Above all it is easier for Grandpa to watch Davy then to watch the power rangers.Read full review...

Davey Crockett - King of the Wild Frontier

Bought this for my six year old grandson. He loves the stories about Davey Crockett. I love it because my grandson is happy with it and I love to hear him sing.

Davy Crocket

This is a classic movie, and reminded me of my Sunday evening as a kid, watching Wonderful World of Disney. My kids sang the Davy Crockett song for days afterward.
