Great new family game

Already have Europe and India expansion. Love them! Bought Rails and Sails and enjoy the variation of the ships, trains and harbors . Like that it is a stand alone game too. Very colorful board and cards. Only thing I noticed different from Europe was that the plastic trains/boats are not as solid or made as well as Europe. Not a big deal, works just as well! This game is for a seasoned Ticket to Ride fan. I would start off with USA and Europe and maybe some other expansions before moving on to this one. I did add some house rules to make the game smoother and faster. It adds some complexity which is much more challenging. Overall a good game. My only complaint is that the ships and trains are somewhat smaller than the original trains, so not as easy to manipulate, but not impossible.Read full review
