Great way to repair your broken sub

I have an old Polk 10 inch sub that I've repaired 3 times before (dried out caps, fried driver transistor, and broken speaker connectors) and when it developed a great 60hz hum - that was it. I shopped for a new plate amp and my experience with Dayton has been positive. So at this price I had to buy it.

About 5 minutes with my electric saw and the amp dropped in. Couple of connections later - and I'm back in business.

Great For Dayton Audio Bass Shakers

This is a nice and clean amp, it provides plenty of power to my 6 Dayton Audio Bass Shaker pucks which in total can handle 120W and this amp can go up to 100W. This is very clean signal and near zero hum or noise at least I can't hear any. It feels like it is well built, the knobs are very smooth and solid and the only thing I did was add a 200mm computer case fan to help vent the air off the black heat sink. I noticed it would get very hot when bass is played heavily for 5+ minutes, so this is just a precautionary add on I decided to help keep the amp "happier" and last longer with lower thermals. Highly Recommend it, especially for bass shakers.Read full review...

Does exactly what it claims to do!

It replaced a built-in subwoofer amp with a lot more power driving a 15" subwoofer. Despite being rated for less power (70 watts vs. 150 into 8 ohms), it drives it to very high levels and actually had a significantly lower distortion ration than the Klipsch oem amp! Plenty of power unless you are a young person who typically listens at levels over 110 db! Great replacement with no hum and clean punch.Read full review...

Dayton Audio SA100

Best plate amp I’ve used. I had an older 10 inch subwoofer amp connected to 5.1 theater setup that went out and this went in as a replacement perfectly. Now my 10 really hits. Runs cool in operation. Highly recommended.Read full review...

Replaced the stock amplifier

After my stock amp kept blowing fuses, I replaced the PSW125 amp with this one and it is performing flawlessly. Great replacement piece for my needs!
