not the best zombie game

This is a matter of opinion, but the game was really more of a pain to play than enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, I like a challenge, but in this game you get highly outnumbered when there is a zombie attack and your "teammates" seem to do almost nothing to help (on single player mode), You have to constantly save them, if you don't -guess what? you have to start all over. You cannot save where you want and to be honest it felt more like working than playing a game. sorry, but not my style. I like to have fun when I play a game, not get constantly frustrated. If you want a good zombie shooter get "dying light" or "Zombie". much better!!!Read full review...

Great game, hours of fun.

Very fun. Great graphics. Lots of replay value. Lots of stuff to pick up.

Some flaws, but overall an awesome game

Now that you can get this game for under $10, it's totally worth it. The open environment is great and there feels like a lot to explore. One major gripe is that enemies in the game spawn in the same place on every return to a location (with some exceptions when there is a particular quest that requires you to go through that area).

Dead Island is a zombie horror free roaming horror RPG game. Its fun, funny & scary. And being able to co-op with friends online makes it even more fun.

Great all around game

Its a great game but not offline co op missions. This is why i bought this game and it does not have multi player except for online. Other than that game play is great fun missions awesome graphics. I highly recommend this game for serious zombie game lovers.Read full review...
