A Step Beyond My Expectations

Return to Cookie Mountain was my first exposure to TV on the Radio and it was a truly excellent experience. That being said, their follow-up "Dear Science" is even better. Same hip-hoppy roots but with some real surprises that will catch you off guard. To me, the "Family Tree" track is a classic and one of the finer true love songs ever penned and put to music. If Return to Cookie Mountain moved you, you will not be disappointed in "Dear Science"!Read full review...

This CD really grows on you — the more you listen the better it gets. Have loved TVOTR for years and glad to finally own their music. Highly recommended!

Adoration

I adore this album.
Tv on the Radio, speak directly to your body, not your ears. I have the majority of their albums. This album has received many good reviews, I was extremely excited to own it. The first track, Halfway Home, really hits me once into the chorus.. is it not me?
This is one of those very simple questions, that impact more thought than a paragraph or muti-paged essay could inspire.

Best Album of 2008

I listen to all types of music and there is no way to accurately classify this album (think of trying to classify Beck, e.g.). It contains hypnotic beats with singing, chanting and pseudo-rapping all blended perfectly. I buy a lot of CDs and this is the best one I have bought in a long time.Read full review...

Awesome!

TV on the Radio does it again! Its a mix of pretty much everything you can think of and it all comes together perfectly. If you thought their last album was great wait until you hear this one. They (once again) completely blew me away.Read full review...
