Glad to have the CD but not liking the CD.

The delivery was ahead of estimated schedule. I live in a care facility so I have a small income and aren't able to go out and shop. I've wanted this CD for a while. The CD was packed wonderfully. Very happy with condition: Like new. Another happy buying experience. Thank you. So with that being said, I have to say I love the Moody Blues yet didn't like the this CD. I felt its recording was awful especially coming from such musicians. I have an extensive Christmas music collection and this would be probably the worse of it. Listening to CD to get a better feel for it maybe it will grow on me? Anyhow I am thankful I have in my collection. And thankful it was an easy and smooth process to purchase.

December - Moody Blues

I purchased the December CD by the Moody Blues. I am a big fan of the Moody Blues, and have seen them in concert three times, once with an orchestra. For Moody Blues fans, the December CD may be a good addition to ones collection. I have listened to the CD at least six times or so, and enjoy it. However, the December album did not include Ray Thomas, and the Moody Blues are not quite the same without Ray. Ray retired from the Moody Blues in 2002. Also, in my opinion, the Moody Blues should not have included Happy Xmas (War Is Over) on December. They do a fairly good job of it, but it just doesn't seem to be a song they needed to do. Overall, I am glad I bought December and would recommend it for Moody Blues fans.Read full review...

December (CD) by The Moody Blues

I have been listening to The Moodies since the 70's, and have everything they have ever made. The December CD is a pleasant departure from the typical Christmas music, and the track "When A Child Is Born" is great. Their use of orchestra, acustic guitars and wind instruments make every song very pleasant to listen to. This is a great CD to just sit, relax, and listen to every word. If you enjoy The Moody Blues, you will certainly enjoy this CD.Read full review...
