Derby Shave Stick!
I just received my Derby Shave Stick this afternoon. What a great shave I had this evening! This product smells good, lathers easily and provides a close, silky smooth shave. I used an Astra SP blade in my adjustable razor for this shave. The post shave feel is excellent. I think that I prefer this (Derby) stick to the Arko shave stick, but both soaps work very well! Great latter awful smell
Compare to Arko it can latter up a bit better but the smell is so bad. It's like heavy duty laundry soap. Arko has a much better and lite smell to it.

Great Shave - Great Value
This is very much like the other similarly priced shave soap stick. I like the stronger fragrance of the Derby, however. I use this stick in two ways. (1) I find it to be a little bit too much work to rub the stick on my face enough to get a good lather, so instead, I shave a little soap into my lather bowl and work up with my brush there. (2) Because Derby is so good, but I like to rotate my soaps, I will rub the stick on my beard and then lather with a different soap. A good quality shave soap stick
I have only used the Derby Shave stick twice to shave and it lathered quickly on my face and it delivered a smooth surface on my face for me to shave with. The shave stick lather softened my whiskers for a slick shave.

Derby soap is great for a good lather. It tends to dry a bit faster than other soaps but I’m sure you can cope with that. I can get as close as shaves with Derby stick as I can with any other soap. You can rub it on your face and lather it. Rub it on your shave brush and lather your face. Or do both face and brush.
