Great cordless tool with excellent fast cutting. I would recommend this product

The Dewalt DCS354B Atomic 20 volt max cordless oscillating tool cuts through nails and and wood fast. I like the fact that there is no cord to plug in. This makes it easy to use anywhere. It is easy to handle and balance is good. It has cut everything I have used it for.Read full review

by TOP CRITICAL REVIEW

Better features but not as durable as xr models

Stay away from the Dewalt Atomic line of tools I see more of this line broken and they still look almost new. In order to fix you must buy motor, trigger switch and motor control board this is all soldered and glued together $75.00-$100.00 you might as well buy a new tool. The xr are made the same way but don,t break as much. I see some of their Atomic line all beat up and still working and others look new but only led lights come on. I tried electrical cleaner in the switch and motor no luck ending up buying the parts to fix. I have dewalt 20v tools and batteries from 2011 that still work when this stuff was still 100% made and assembled here in the good old USA.Read full review

Awesome oscillator

Great dewalt quality. Comes in handy for those odds jobs, just be sure to use the right blade for the job. Variable speed is a great feature. Light weight and uses my existing batteries.

Best deal I could find.

Been on the lookout for a good price on this tool. It was over $20 less than anywhere else. Brand new and in the box. I’m happy!

Great For Specific Purpose

This tool works great for cutting the thick packaging tape & cardboard of shipping boxes. Also works great for opening the really tuff, thick, plastic packaging that many parts & tools come in. Sometimes this 2-piece clear plastic packaging will just pop apart. But, sometimes the 2 pieces are welded/melted together. Hard to get into. If you're careful, a real sharp knife or box cutter will get into it.

But, this multi-tool, with the correct blade, makes quick work of it, & is much safer, IMO.

Battery Tools Are Taking Over!!

Typical DeWalt 20 Volt Max tool (really, really good). Works as well as my premium Bosch corded model. Plus it has a LED work light, brushless motor, and is variable speed. The Bosch will have to be a backup from now on! Shipped with a few blades also.Read full review

Oscillating Tool

Excellent tool for the remodeling carpenter! Very effective at getting the job done! Buying a second one because my original tool is almost wore out due to the amount of use it received! Very good investment for the money! Don't forget to purchase the carbide blades for the tool! Thank you!Read full review

Best out there.

Easy blade change without looking for allen wrench. It's lighter than my other oscillating tools. Smaller, less bulky. Variable speed by pressing the trigger.
Easy to hold no matter what angle. Your hand wraps around it nicely. Has a light. Brushless so I've been told uses less battery. It will work with a 2 or 3 amp battery. I switched over from Makita to Dewalt because of the age of my Makita tools. The price was right, I paid $70 bucks for it delivered. HD wants $99. Read full review
