Easy installation, outstanding performance
I've installed four of these in N scale locomotives. Only one requires any significant modification to the loco. They all worked flawlessly the first time. These decoders don't have all the bells and whistles (pun intended) but for basic motor and light control in the tight confines of N scale, they are terrific. If you have the soldering skills and can follow simple instructions, they are a great option to upgrade your DC locomotives.Read full review

No Reverse
Got the dz126 decoder and mounted on my locomotive and everything worked except reverse. The bad is I had to take it out and spend 5.00 to send it to digitrax for warranty. The good is they send a new one at no charge. This was my fifth one and the other four where great. So yes I would recommend digitrax because they have great products and a great warranty. Fits the vintage N scale Minitrix F7A locos just fine...
