Power to do the job right
Using an infrared noncontact thermometer I did a comparison between this unit and a 17 W unit. All temperatures are in degrees Fahrenheit measuring the heated surface of the unit.

As you can see, both units reached maximum temperature in about 10 minutes.
This 25 W unit actually kept my tea 8 to 10° warmer.
I would suggest putting a brand-new unit outside and leave it turned on for about 30 minutes to dispel the "New Electrical Heater" odor. Perhaps I am just sensitive, and you will not need that break in time. ENJOY!Read full review...

okay but very hot and no auto-off
This is a better value in some regards than other mug warmers in that you get a mug as well as the warming plate, and it's more attractive than others. However, it gets VERY hot and does not have an auto-turnoff feature, so your beverage can actually get too hot and you need to sure to turn it off. Read full review...

We are a Disney family. When we saw this, it became a "must have". It does a great job of keeping your beverage hot.
