We received the part in great time and it was installed. However, this part did not make any difference in fixing the problem. I can't say if the part was malfunctioning, or it wasn't the problem to begin with. That night someone backed out of their driveway into the passenger side of our van and did damage to the passenger sliding and to the door jam itself. After that the door ajar light went out and the power locks and courtesy light worked correctly again. When we get the van back from the repair shop, we will see if the problem is not fixed.
