Plastic locking Linkage Rubbish

The eletric's worked OK - But the plastic locking linkage/actuator is rubbish, So loose and badly assembled that the locking mechanism didn't work. I had to insert a metal spring clip washer in and behind the locking lever, so the plastic lever from the door handle would align and lift the door lock mechanism, otherwise is was so loose it just slipped up and behind the lever and jammed-up every time. A bit of a 'Heath Robinson' modification to a new component to make it work. - Best buy an original Ford part.Read full review...
