If you like Dancing. If you like music. If you like nostalgia, then you need this movie. Down Argentine Way is a classic. It features Carmen Miranda in the opening, and to me, that's worth the price of admission. Don Ameche and Bette Grable are just great, but, the real reason I bought this was the Dancing. The Nicholas Brothers do a dance routine in this that is flat our amazing. To buy this movie just for the 3 minute segment is worth it. the Nicholas brothers were so far ahead of their time, its amazing. their style and grace is second to none. The movie may seem hokie, but, when put into context, it is a movie that is truly for collectors. I guarantee, you listen to Carmen Miranda sing "South American Way" you will think you are in Brazil. If you like musicals, this is one to have for those times when Cable and Dish don't have anything on that flips your flipper.Read full review...

One of my all time favorite movies! So pleased to find this old movie on dvd and it was good quality when it arrived. Once I purchased it arrived quickly. I've enjoyed watching with the hubs

Down Argentine Way

Always loved this movie, but never owned a good copy of it...now I have one! Betty Grable and Don Ameche are wonderful together, as is another musical favorite of mine, Charlotte Greenwood.
