A funny remake of a great series.

This one of the funniest movies I've seen with Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks with the lighter side to the series of Dragnet. As Siskel and Ebert would say Two thumbs up!!!!!

Dragnet (DVD, 1998) Dan Aykroyd

I grew up watching Dragnet. Dan Aykroyd does an excellant job playing the part of Joe Friday who does evrything by the book. His speeches (in monatone) and quote laws right out of the book are classic for those of us familiar with the Joe Friday charcter. My only critisism is with the plot itself, which at the end makes the main religious character the villian. Although a common theme is a lot of plots, found it distasteful and unnessesary.Read full review...
