ick, not good

this movie is awful, the acting is bad, scenes are awful,
it is a shallow representation of humanity and history.
chris lambert is held under a directors thumb, and is seen in the movie as poor replacement for the better representations of proto european heroes. borrow it, but dont buy it.

Druids

Maybe I like this movie because I love ancient history; maybe because Christopher Lambert always fascinated me. This is the story of Caesar in Gaul, told from the Gauls's perspective. I didn't realize until I saw this movie that the Gauls were Celts! "Druids" is an interesting view of a people about to be conquered and see their culture slide into oblivion. You can't help cheering for the underdogs, wishing the Gauls the victory!Read full review...

This could have been a great movie. The movie sets are bad, almost comical in many areas. For most of the movie, Lambert looks like he would rather be some place else.

this is a waste of time poor casting weak story line and battles good titty part with druid woman distracting roman soliders if your into that, other wise it is good sceanery and will give some insight but there has to be a better movie. For a movie made after brave heart it was an embarisment to the film industry.Read full review...

It was more of the summary of the events which occurred for that time period. I used it caringly for my French class. And of course it's Hollywood Fluff, but in order to sell history to the students nowadays, you kind of need it to get a point across.Read full review...
