Good modding platform

Not the greatest wah pedal in the world, but sounds better than the effects board wahs, and the flaws or lack of features can be fixed with some modding, I'm happy with mine as is anyway, but if I can make it better easy enough, I will.Read full review...

Pedal Issues

Pedal wouldn't click. Fixed by inserting a piece of felt. Rocking motion of pedal was a little stiff so I applied graphit grease on the threads. That seemed to work. Would be nice if the vendor would inspect these devices more thoroughly. I'm overall happy with it since I fixed all the bugs with it.Read full review...

It sounds like a crying baby, as the name would imply.

It really reminds me of the 70's, Hendrix, Grand Funk, and black light posters. The good old days. JH

A Standard

Dunlop Crybaby is a classic. It's hard to find anything bad to say about it. It does 'that' sound: Hendrix, funk, Hammett, Slash, all that. The only pain in the neck is that the pot gets dirty and scratchy after a while. It is very sensitive to the kind of amp you're using. A Marshall sounds great with it. Fender Blackface-type amps sound great too. With solid state amps, like a Roland JC120, it will tear your head off. With high gain amps the effect can sound a little weak. I'm sure that's why they make wah pedals with 'Q' knobs and other controls. If you like classic kinds of sounds, this has to be your wah pedal of choice.Read full review...

wonderful addition to my collection of pedals

Classic wah sounds. I've put it on the tail end of my effects pedal assortment, and it really makes a difference. I'm no Jimi Hendrix, but when I'm playing I don't care. It sure does sound good.

Dunlop Cry baby

Good experience. Only thing is that the little gear that works when you step on the pedal had some white gummy looking stuff on it and I had to clean it off. Other than that is works great.

one of the best wah pedals

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The Crybaby Wah-Wah has stood the test of time and has served generations of guitarists of every style. The sound is unmistakable, and frankly, has never been duplicated. There is but one control, the pedal itself - that is all you need to add this classic sound to your own. Mash the pedal down and the effect kicks in. Mash it again and you've engaged the bypass and your pure signal passes through.

Here's a secret of the pros: turn the effect on and find that "sweet spot" about half-way down the travel of the pedal. Leave it right there, and turn up the crunch on your amp. It's a sound you've heard and tried to get, but just couldn't get quite right.

Its heavy-duty construction means you will wear out pairs of shoes before you wear the Crybaby out. There is a saying that "they don't make them like they used to," which is disproved here, because they are still making the Crybaby like they used to.

Excellent pedal for the price-good tones, easy to use, reliable

This is a great pedal for the price. I would prefer if it had a spring to return it to the "non-wah" position which, for me,would make it easier to use. However, it operates smoothly and has great tones.Read full review...

Well worth adding to your arsenal.

If you don't already own one,buy one! This thing is just plain fun.Very responsive.I have seen quite a few of these on e-bay and Amazon.I think I got a great price and only a 6.00 shipping charge.
I'm running this with a 9v battery at the moment, but may opt for a power suppy later,I kind of want to see how long the 9v will last.Great to hook up another pedal first(my newest is a "Death Metal") for some really interesting sound.
Buy one, even "used" is worth it if it's in working order.
