Fitting It......?

I like my cover for the DuroMax 10000 duel fuel generator but the only thing I don't like it is a very very tight fit. I took the old flannel blanket I covered my previous generator and used it instead of this cover. I will put it out in the hot summer sun and see if that stretches it out later this year. Otherwise it is a great cover and built durable just like my Genesis BBQ cover.Read full review

Fit good, one major design flaw.

You don't ask for much from a generator cover. Pretty straight forward. However.... You cannot use the handles with the cover on. This is a problem for me as I store my generator under my work bench. It's a very tight fit due to height, I have use the handles to push it under there. I then have to get under there and wiggle the cover on over the handles after they're folded down.

There is no accommodation for the handles to poke through the cover. It's just a simple 5-sided cover, somewhat tight fitting. They could have added Velcro slats to let you use the handles, fold them down, then Velcro closed.Read full review

Very lightweight, but still a good value, more of a dust cover than anything else.

Came very fast, but I could not give a separate shipping address. Luckily my post office is set up for small to medium size packages. Cover looks nice, but as thin as it is, I doubt that it is weather proof. Only time will tell.Read full review

Duromax cover

What's in a name?

Aside from the fact that it has the name of my generator imprinted on the outside,I would not recommend it. It barely fits albeit after carefully pulling it a little at a time so as not to tear it over some sharp edges. It is made of some thin fabric and the underside is as course as the outside. If you need to use your generator in an emergency, you have to be very careful in taking it off otherwise it will rip in many places. If it was a little larger, it would be more user friendly and might be serviceable for a period of time. I hope my Duromax generator is made better than the cover bearing its name.Read full review

Decent cover

As I have seen in other comments, it's a decent cover, though I don't think it would hold up very long in the outdoor sun. The generator is heavy so putting it in it's storage space using the handles needs to be done before you can put the cover on. If its in a tight place it is difficult to get the cover on. To fix that problem I just put the cover on, marked where the handles were and cut 2 slots to stick the handles through, now I can move the gen around with the cover on it, works great, why couldn't the manufacturer do that. So the handles are not covered, big woop. I like the cover and would buy again if needed.Read full review

good light duty cover

Bought this cover for my generator which is a different brand but it fits perfect. I wanted it since I store my generator in my garage and wanted to protect it from paint, sawdust and other debris. It is great for this purpose but not sure how long it would withstand harsh weather and sun as the material is fairly thin.Read full review

too early to tell

only had the generator 2or3 weeks and just wired it to my house elect. box , ran it on propane as well as gas and it ran great on both fuels. I ran with power on the whole house except my heat pump which I think it will run it ok , however the microwave oven kicked the breaker so I think I over loaded the generator but seeing the breaker do as designed was a good thing.
