Great kit if you have to have the brand-name product

Flawless fit, of course - but, like everything Dyson, pricey. I bought it "new other," which was definitely the way to go after my "significant other" made clear that a third-party kit would not do, no matter how compatible. I don't know why it's called an "allergy kit," though. There are no special filters and cleaning the attachments is best done outside by whoever doesn't have the allergy. I bought the kit because of the attachments - the flat-surface duster, crevice-tool, and upholstery-attachment. The crevice-tool is "flexi," which is neat - it has a telescopic extension that's made of rubber so you can vacuum around tight corners.
