Amazing portable cordless!
The V11 Torque is a fantastic vacuum and is a portable/rechargeable that works as well as any canister. It looks great and the portability makes the unit easy to use especially around furniture and bed rooms. The first time I used it, the V11 picked up so much lint, dirt and debris that it felt like I had not vacuumed my place in months.
The V11 Torque has a digital read out that monitors the power left in the battery and automatically shifts from power base on the type of surface you are cleaning. I love this new vacuum and gave away my old vacuum.
I have only owned it for about 45 days and cannot wait to see how it lasts over time. Dyson rocks!

Still pretty lumpy and very poorly marketed with consumer education in mind.
Lots of parts and no place to store them. I see you can parts a "parts tree", but not really part of the significant investment, we have already made. Additionally, the unit is very top heavy and storage considerations must be made as well. Lastly, the charging process is still somewhat of a mystery. It may be that there are optional longer-life batteries available, but it always shows the charge-state in the middle and will drop from 6 - 8 minutes remaining to nothing and then require 3+ hours to re-charge.Read full review...

Great cord free vacuum.
This is a very powerful vacuum and power seems to last for a while. It's not that light - I have had an earlier Dyson model that is lighter but it ran out of power much quicker. No problem on my hardwood floors. The torque head works well both on carpet and floors. I have used the dusting brush on my blinds and baseboard, and it seems to get all the dust. To empty you need to remove the pole, but I don't find that to be a problem. It's easier to empty than the older. Read full review...

Dyson V11 is a good vacuum
It works really well. We already had a V6 Dyson. This one is better. It makes a thung noise when you let off the trigger. There are three modes on the back. If you use Auto it adjusts the speed of the motor to how much power it needs. Really cool technology. Eco mode, Medium, and Boost. We bought the refurbished and I'm really happy with it. She wanted the brand new one for twice the money. In my opinion refurbished can be better. They get evaluated and fixed to like new condition. A new one might be a dud out of the box. Actually makes vacuuming a pleasure
As funny as it sounds, this vacuum cleaner is an absolute pleasure to use. First off, it makes a big difference to not have to deal with a cord or the heaviness of a traditional upright. Even though this thing is cordless and a lot lighter and more maneuverable than an upright, I feel it’s more powerful and efficient than most uprights I’ve used in the past. And the satisfying proof is right there in the transparent dirt receptacle that lets you see exactly how much dirt you’ve sucked up. I’m also surprised at how power-efficient the battery is; it lasts longer than I need to vacuum my entire 1500 square-foot apartment. Stellar machine for a great price
This machine is light weight, easy to maneuver and easy to empty. The included attachments are also easy to change out and make detail work like getting in corners and vacuuming stairs and furniture less challenging. Twice as good as my Dyson V7 cordless vacuum!
It’s about twice as powerful with a battery that lasts up to 3 times longer and a bigger dust bin that’s easier to to empty then similar Dysen V7 model. It also came with 8 tools, unlike my V7 that only came with 2. so even though it cost about $90 more than my five-year-old model, it’s extra tools are worth more than that. We have the V8 in our home in NH, which we love. When I read the reviews on the V11 I ordered it for FL. It works like a charm! The YouTube videos, especially comparing the V10 and V11 were very convincing. Worth the Money
Dyson V11 Torque Drive may cost more than other stick vacuums, but when you consider all included attachments, it is a better value. You have longer battery life, more powerful than the competitors, automatically adjusts for carpet or hardwood/tile floors, light weight, swivel head makes for easy access to any area, and motorized mini head attachment completely replaces my hand-vac/“dust-buster”.
Consider all the uses and what it would cost to buy a good house vac, electric broom, and a hand vac, you are much better off with Dyson V11.
Look for sales... bought mine online for $450. No need to pay $699 full retail, although could make a case to spend that for the last powerful cordless vacuum you will ever need.Read full review...
