Amazing Video Card

I've had this video card a for a couple of months now after having to replace my 1080 founder's Edition. (Stoped working)
I noticed a good improvement in performance compared to 1080. And it's also super quite under heavy loads. Specifically took 2 weeks off just to test and enjoy this card.
Played the Witcher 3 for about 8 hours a day on max settings and with about 30 mods for those 2 weeks and card performed incredibly .
I would highly suggest saving up a little extra a go for this card instead of a 1080 just do your research to make sure your computer is comparible and can power it.

Great Card, Still Expensive

As a preface, I got mine used. It was in fantastic condition, was expecting dust or some wear, but I believe the original owner used it for a brief period only for small projects before switching to something more design application oriented. So essentially, my 1080 ti is new.

The card runs cool and is very quiet. I believe if it doesn't exceed a certain temperature, I think 50C?, the fans don't even spin. No heat issues with it yet, haven't OC'ed it either but I did for a brief period and did some benchmarking. No issues at all. When the fans do run, it's still pretty quiet. I don't notice it when gaming.

The card is quite large and does draw a good amount of power, if the amount of connector pins didn't give it away.

As for performance, it's quite up there. Handles 2k well and HD with plenty of FPS. Most games I play on absolutely maxed out everything, I can still get 100+ fps. A few games it may not reach there, especially if I have it set to 2k resolution, but it's still beyond 60fps. I wish I kept my results from my benchmarks, but you could google it as well and do the average. It's up there.

Downside of the card is that even though it's an old model and the new RTX line is already out, the price is really high. Would recommend getting it used if possible unless you want to pay exorbitant prices. The dual fans work great, the card itself is a monster, especially since I upgraded from a 750ti, and it handles all the new games very well.

Great Card!

Sure it's an older card but it's still a beast!! If you can get one for a good price it is a great 1080 and 1440 card even with most modern titles. Stays incredibly cool!

Pretty great

The temperature is the most noticable thing I was looking to lower, I went from temps of my old gpu under testing 46 min to 78 highest to the new GPU is 28 min and 46 high under the same test. My min in my old GPU is my new highestest. I still use stock fans from the case so it can still be better if I replace them. Its abit louder then my previous GPU but not to noticable and very much OverClockable. Its power in games allows you to play the highest settings so far from benchmarking it without it being a complete lag fest during it. In gameplay the same. If I can update my review I will but so far its pretty great.Read full review...

Works for my needs.... FS2020 in VR

Vastly overpriced considering the state of the art today (this is a 2017 card), but performs admirably considering. 11GB helps... water cooled helps LOTS! I overclock up to 1670Mhz with never getting over 50C. Big improvement in framerates in FS2020 set to high on most things, low on a couple others, and ultra on clouds, water and buildings. YMMV, but at $670 shipped in today's market, I was glad to score it. Highly recommended if you are pushing VR and want to wait for prices to get more in line...Read full review...

Outstanding gpu

I have a 1440p 165hz acer predator (VA panel, gsync) monitor. The 1080 ti pushes more than enough frames to make sure game play is smooth in every game I've played so far. Modern warfare at max settings is the only game I've encountered so far that gives me about 130 frames on average, which is still excellent. I expect this gpu to last for several more years. Super great card. Runs so cool I love it. Plays everything amazingly.

I knew what I was buying when I bought it, and it turned out to be everything I wanted. Card never goes over 52c and idles at 34c. Water cooling is fantastic. Sadly didn't get too much overclock out of it, but it still works great and won't overheat my gaming room like most cards do. Read full review...
