Good game if you're into the Ecco series

I love ecco the dolphin its excellent quality! I got it for my kids and we enjoy playing together taking turns when they needed help they hand me the controller I love how detailed this game is!

Excellent game, but very difficult!!!

I love how you play as a dolphin. You can swim around (movement is very fluid and easy to control)and you can even to tricks. The main problem with this game is that it's very challenging and difficult. Don't expect to spend 10-20 minutes per level. I spent 2 hours on one level before. So you know, this is an exact port form the Dreamcast version. I loved this version, so I bought it for PS2. Still love it. If you want some real challenge this game's for you. I would have given this a 4.5/5 but it wasn't an option.Read full review...

A very different type of game

The gameplay takes some time to figure out as you're guided by very cryptic messages on what to do. But, after you start figuring things out the game is quite interesting and fun to explore.

Great for kids

The level play is difficult however at the beginning (and with some help from cheat codes) kids can use imagination and simulation to play around with the dolphin. I had this game for sega and bought the PS2 game for my 3 year old because he loves dolphins...the graphics are incredible and the imagination type play it can be used for is great for young kids.... love it.Read full review...

For an original and unique game, this one is strongly recommanded!

Fan of the good old game on genesis, watch out! This game is totally different, but it's a very amazing game in a 3D universe.

The game is wonderful and original. The background and the water effet are stunning and you won't find something like this everywhere by our time.

You'll probably need some time to adapt yourself with the gameplay, which is tricky sometimes. The game is very difficult by moment, and I strongly suggest that you keep an eye on a walktrought in the internet to help yourself at some parts. Still, it's a very good game.Read full review...

I bought Ecco the Dolphin Defender of the Future a while ago, and i instantly fell in love with it. The grafics are simply breath taking, and it has a sweet gameplay that gives you the feeling of being a dolphin. The game provides you with challenging puzzles that will keep you entertained for hours! I bought this game because I loved playing the other Ecco games, and I'm glad that I did.
