I believe this is the best air purifier on the market. This machine removes dust particles from the air and gives the entire house a clean, sanitized smell. Fresh Air

When we received this Fresh Air we knew it did not work and needed a part that we had. We were surprised on it's arrival it was filthy and had not been cleaned in some time. This is not an air purifier. It is an odor elimination device.

People with sensitive lungs or need a purifier primarily for allergies need to stay far way for this product and get an Austin Air or IQAir instead. I do not belong this demographic fortunately. Regardless, you do need to be responsible with the ozone knob (purifier setting) or your lungs will have problems! They should not call this an air purifier. It should be called an odor extermination device, as it excels extremely well in this department, whether it is cat pee, tobacco smoke, marijuana stench, and the stench of spilled alcohol, especially when you can't remove the emission source(s), which would make carbon filters have very short life. It even does pretty well in odor control even in normal mode (ozone plate / purifier turned off; ionization only, still produces some ozone though). I have 8 cats in my house and do not have allergy problems (helps only a little), or lung problems (makes worse), or sensitive lungs (Will inflame), so this Ecoquest fits me well.Read full review...

Removes smoke and oder-causing bacteria from house

This seems to do exactly as the manufacturer's description. It was installed and working in a 1069 sq ft house, that hadn't had any sort of air handling system. Was smelling of must and smoke. Professional heat pump installer installed new heat pump system along with this purifier. The house is smelling MUCH better and does not cause the allergic reactions any longer when visiting. Installation was easy, I do not see why the manufacturer requires professional installation. It's simply cut a hole, screw the mount in, place the DuctWoRx in and plug the power cord into the 110v outlet. Simple and easy. Just follow the diagrams and guidelines!

It also sucks that the warranty requires a licensed dealer to sell you this. In my opinion, it's just a way for them to get more money for their product. For 1/3 the price, I could end up buying 3 units on eBay for the cost of 1 from an authorized dealer.Read full review...

Ecoquest Fresh Air Living Air Purifier

I've owned four of these air purifers since they were the Living Airs which became Ecoquest and curently own three. The Ecoquest is not the quality of the Living Air and more expensive to maintain. The case is cheaply made, the fan makes more noise and the bulbs go out more frequently but they preform as well. They last about half as long as the older models. Despite the negative reviews you might encounter on the internet if used properly they preform better than any other air purifier. We've owned several types for comparison and know from experience. For vehicles such as RVs we used the Ecoquest stainless blaster at the business to remove pet and smoke oders that cleaning or shampooing will not touch. Recently we used one to remove smoke oders from a friends apartment which had fire damage. After having it professionally cleaned the odor still exhisted. We closed it up and blasted it for a weekend then aired it out. He was amazed that the odor was gone. If you like sented candles or cleaners in your home this may not be the purfier you want. It removes all odors. I have to rate this one as average due to comparison with the older units. I'd suggest if you have interest in one to purchase the Living air before they are no longer available. You'll get many years of service from the unit. Follow instructions especially with ozone concentration and you'll be happy with the results.Read full review...

I'm still learning about my new air purifier. It is not completely quiet by quite enough not to interrupt my quality of life. It is easy to operate. The manual was absent inside the packaging so you had to go online to access it. That's a bit frustrating, as I expected to have the manual on hand when the package arrived. We love it!

We have used a fresh air purifier since 2006 and never want to be without one. We have 6 cats which require several litter boxes in our home, but you can never spell any cat odor at all! People are always amazed at how great our house smells. We just bought this one so that if we have any problems with our current one we will have a replacement. The best on the market

I purchased this model for my fiance. I have owned one for 11 years. It is very quiet. The multiple speed adjustments make it ideal for any situation. IT KILLS ANY ODORS!! It doesn't mask, it eliminates. She was using Glade air fresheners. This eliminated that odor. I bred dogs and my house was clean smelling. I know Vets that have these in the office and there is no kennel smell. Just wash the filters when they get dirty, no buying expensive filters. When the light and the ozone generator need to be replaced, buy them on E-bay. Very inexpensive compared to the manufacture. 5 Stars.Read full review...

Love it! Can't Live without it!

I had one of these machines a long time ago and absolutely loved it! So when my old one got dropped and broke - I just had to find a new one! You can actually feel how much lighter the air is with the machine on. I know that sounds rediculous - but it really does make breathing easier. On top of that - I have 10 dogs and the sanitary mode is fantastic to getting doggy odor out of the house. I use it constantly in my puppy nursery and it keeps everything smelling clean and fresh! If you have animals - you should have this machine! If you like to cook fish, but hate how your house smells afterwards - get this machine!! If you have allergies or asthma - you NEED this machine! Ecoquest Purifier 2.1

My girlfriend and I both smoke and have pets. A good friend who owns a bar let me try one he had after a state-wide smoking ban went into effect and he didn't feel he needed it anymore. I was impressed since I have tried air purifiers and cleaners before. I wound up buying three of them.... 2 for my house and 1 for my parents (neither one of them smoke). The ion smell from them takes a week or so to get used to, but the performance of these things is great. I can not smell any smoke in the house at all and neither my girlfriend or I have even had the sniffles this year. Cleaning them is a little bit of work, but it's easier than some of the other similar products I've tried thru the years that had electric plates. On a medium setting it draws about 1/2 amp or around the same energy as a 30 watt light bulb. Pretty miserly. The unit also looks nice. Other than the noticable blue light from the ultraviolet light it actually blends in well with about any background you chose to put it in. They recommend placing them higher to be more effective. If you buy a used one you may have some cleaning to do (I cleaned the one from the bar, holy cow!!!). Replacement parts seem pretty easy to obtain on ebay.
