It just works and is economical. Not just the same old filter design.

The Ecoquest just works. We got two of them for control of MOLD in areas of our house, and find that they have helped while we get at the source of the mold. The "away" setting is great! It puts out a lot of ozone (more than you want when in the house) and freshens everything up, killing odors and we hope killing mold spores. The unit is small and quiet, and does not require frequent changes of filters. There is a UV lamp that must be replaced every 1 to 3 years, but what we will spend on those is very little compared to the hundreds of dollars we have spent on replacement HEPA filters on other units. I like this much better than the focus. You can control the setting on the unit. I think it's overpriced and it does make a little noise but not like the focus. Very happy with it.

Ecoquest Fresh Air Purifier

I was truly amazed at how well this machine worked. We had a very bad odor in a home that we were moving into. The odor persisted for months. We were unable to find the source, (we still don't know). A friend decided to put an Ecoquest unit in our home while we were away and put it on whatever setting is used for "away." We were very amazed at the humongous difference that it made. The home never smelled that good. I have bought a used unit. Very impressed and obviously would recommend it. You do have to eliminate the source of the odor.
