Banana Bag greatly slows ripening.

I eat a banana most days and I would normally only buy bananas once a week so that storage and avoidance of over-ripening has been a problem.
I had heard od these Banana Bags but only recently decided to try one.
I now find that the bananas kept in the bag in the fridge hardly ripen at all, and so I need to take say 2 or 3 bananas out at a time and let them ripen so that I have a ripe one each morning..
I have only been using th bag for about 2 weeks so far, but it certainly does a good job at preventing the bananas ripening too quickly.
So far the bag seems to be doing a good job and i could recommend it to others. But iwould need to prove it over a few months to get a better evaluation of it..

PERFECT HANDS (BUNCHES)

I had two banana bags for years and I noticed that my bananas were going bad within a day or two at the most. I saw these bags and they were perfect and just what I needed. I threw the others away and waited with anticipation for their arrival. They were perfect and practically double the size of my others. They are big enough to hold two hands of bananas and keeps them good and fresh for a while. This also allows you to tie them up and keep out air. Not Qt. what I expected.

When buying this product online I thought that when as instructed you pull the strings the bag would close ??? it does not, one has to wrap the strings around the bag.So a little disappointed. That's all :-/ Read full review...

Excellent Banana Bag - Ideal

I have been using banana bags for some years now and needed another for my Daughter, I was really pleased with the quality when it arrived so treated myself to another one. They really do keep bananas for weeks and I usually try and purchase very firm ones or nearly green and then take them out a day or so before we need to eat them. I have now found that they keep carrots better in the fridge, I just leave them in their poly bag and then put them in the banana bag and it keeps them much fresher.

Good for the price

Good for the price, just wish I'd noticed that you have to tie a bow to secure it rather than the toggle one like I have. As it was a gift for an elderly friend and she may struggle with it a little.

Excellent Banana Bag

Excellent , the skins went a little dark but the fruit inside was good not brown and soft, and I left them in the bag for a week just to check, and by now in my fruit bowl the bananas would be soft and brown. Not a drawstring closure

quality is fine but disappointed not a drawstring fastening you have to wrap string around and put through a loop. My old one was drawstring and so much better to close.

Rescue bag

I have to eat a green unripe banana every morning for health reasons . When unripe they go through an additional fermentation in the gut that heals my condition .I struggled until I found this bag as all suggestions failed to keep bananas green for long enough . .
