Great little device

Great little device. Different to a looper. Great for creating background washes of tonal color on-the-fly. If you got adept at it, you could use it to great effect in live performance. Personally, I use it to practice scales and arpeggios. Very effective and easy to use.

I don't know how different or similar the electronics are, but it would be great to see this device combined with a looper. They're similar in concept. An extra stomp switch combination, and you could be looping, not just freezing. Not a criticism. Just a suggestion.

One Trick Pedal but fun

Kinda cool. It does what it says it sustains the one sound until you either release the button or step on it again. Depends on which mode you want to use. Cool for like a pad sound for background while you jam by yourself. I’d imagine for the shoe gaze and ambient players this thing would be useful. To sum up it’s a one trick pony kinda pedal BUT cool for experimenting with. Read full review...

It's great for what it does if that's what you need!

I got on to this pedal from a Rick Beato video. He recommended it as a tool for working out scales and improvisations on chords. You hit a chord on the guitar, freeze it, and then play your scale or improvisation over it. You can kind of do the same thing with a looper, but it's more complicated. The Freeze does this well and effortlessly.

In playing live or recording, you could also use the pedal for laying down a pad.

This is a fun and enjoyable pedal, but it's pretty specialized.

Stylish, compact, lightweight

It takes a bit of time to understand when you should press the button. Best suited the moment immediately after you take the whole chord with your right hand. Then you freeze gives you a rich subharmonic sounds. In my opinion the price is a little bit high for a single sound effect. But it still a great pedal. And furthermore is a very useful. Thanks to inventors and developers. Cheers!Read full review...

Freeze a jolly good pedal.....

Absolutely love this pedal. Wasn't 100% sure when I ordered it, but find it very useful at times. It has option for short, long (up to 3 seconds) or latch (constant) modes. Fills in as extra member in the band. I don't think anyone else out there has anything like it.Read full review...

A great practice tool.

I bought mine specifically as a practice tool, but have played with it a bit and it is also usable to create beatutiful music.
I hit a chored on my Bass and explore the modes. It's great that it comes with the AC Wall wart. I highly recommend this pedalRead full review...

Cool effect, may not have a million uses, but you'll find one for it!

This is a cool effect, it's not an essential "leave on" all time time effect like an overdrive, but it can add some really cool depth to your sound when you want it. I like using it where I'll play either the root note or the fifth of the note of a riff and leaving in on through the entire riff (latch mode), it adds a synth like sound in the background while you play, really thickens your sound, almost like a second instrument. It's also just a fun effect to mess around with when you get bored.... You really can't lose... Useful and/or fun.. And it's not like they cost hundreds of dollars, so even if you don't use it all the time, you'll keep it, just to have around.Read full review...

Very good pedal

Very good this pedal, quite useful. It helps a lot to practice solos on the instrument, but it also serves to create background sounds.

Good Pedal

It's a very good pedal. Its does what i wanted. Im happy with that.
The footswitch is little bit loud. What i didnt liked was that at first the red light was always blinking.
I thought i was doing something wrong till i opened the pedal, an a saw that the solderd stuff was touching the case from the pedal :( after i fixed that i could finally use it
