Elixirs Polywebs are Great
I actually prefer to use 9-42 gauge Elixirs, but tried medium and heavy duty as well to see what I liked best. I like to be able to bend a string easily and 9's give me that. For me Polywebs are faster to play because of the coating and I don't get the feeling of the string wanting to cut my finger if I slide up the neck. They play easily, probably helped by the fact that I now wipe my strings and neck after each session. And they sound great. For the foreseeable future, I'll be staying with Elixir Polywebs as I also tried Optiweb and still prefer the feel of Polyweb . Read full review...

Never buy another set of strings EVER again!
After Listening to Dr Groovy (Scott Grove) [ h t t p s : / / y o u t u . b e / L 3 1 K s 9 K U K F o ] I decided to get a set of PolyWebs and have NEVER looked back.
These strings are fantastic out of the box, staying in tune immediately and staying crisp for ages.
I've loved these strings so much that I've purchased extra sets and given them to friends.
You'll certainly not be disappointed, get a set and start sounding great, for longer than before. And you'll save the extra weight of 10 spare sets on your gig-bag just in case the gig lasts for 2 hours.
Price/performance is astronomical.
My opinion has changed and I now totally trust and recommend Elixer PolyWebs to everyone!

polyweb is where its at
been a fan of elixirs for years now - they last sooooooooo much longer than any other strings
especially if you have a few guitars that maybe dont get played every week - elixirs can stay useable for years!
then a few months ago i heard of polyweb - a bit more expensive than nano but theyre EVEN BETTER.
theyre the same strings but with a thicker coating!
try a set - theyre much much cheaper in the long run (apparently the strings are made by dadarrio , elixir just coat them)
they do feel a bit different to regular strings but i prefer the feel
try a set on your back up guitar and never change strings again!Read full review...

Great strings 😎
I have been using Elixir strings for some years. They last longer, keep their tone and are great to play.

Great coated strings with tonal differences to standard (uncoated) strings
Great strings for people who don't like re-stringing all the time.
They skip the overly bright 'new string' tone and sound immediately broken in.
The strings have a warmer tone than uncoated strings and also seem to have a higher tension than standard strings.
The string feel is good, not sticky or particularly noticeable.
can't comment on longevity just yet though previous coated strings have lasted me over 3 months with daily playing.Read full review...
