Dragon Dreams

A great film for all fantasy/dragon addicts; far easier on the brain than the book ! High point: Birth of Saphira; Low Point: No Dwarves ! No follow up as yet - c'mon film makers.

Not very descriptive

Great make believe story. The fight for good over evil well acted. The boy born to be a dragon rider could be any boys dream. No bad language. No sex scenes. There is a lot of fighting.

Seen it all before

This is a very poor title. The plot is derrivative as can be and has all the cliches of a fantasy movie: "chosen one" orphan child raised by uncle, cousin leaves, uncle dies dramatically to much sadness. Sage takes "chosen one" under wing and has a couple of catch phrases that are meant to sound wise which are thrown back at him and eventually take a sentimental new meaning after his death.

This is an alright flick for the kids who haven't seen this sroty played out a dozen times in haf a dozen variations but fantasy ficks like the Dark Crystal or even the 2000 Dungeons and Dragons movie are a much more enjoyable watch.Read full review...

This just clarifies why The Lord Of The Rings is so damn good! We’re asked to root for obvious toff Ed Speleers, playing the prole with a destiny who must ride a dragon and save the world from the evil Saruman Vader... sorry, i mean the evil Galbatorix.
